Where did summer go? Seriously. It was just September not long ago? But I have to say that I love fall. I don't care for the season that comes after it but I do enjoy the leaves changing, Halloween costumes hit the stores, and all of that jazz.

Because of my full time job, I haven't been able to do a whole lot of fun things. Here are some photos of things that I was able to do these last few weeks.

This past week I did a photoshoot for my Snow White costume that I just finished.  It was long and hot so I had to to let off some stream with these goofy photos.

Cirque De Sewer is a trained rat show. It was so cute seeing these rats do tricks

Best Pina Colada smoothie ever. My sister was too happy about this.

My sister and I went to the Renaissance Faire in Connecticut. It was so much fun. So much fun that I forgot to take pictures. Ooops! I blame the heat that day.

Oogie Boogie showed up at my studio today. Mwhahaha

Always waiting for things to upload.
And with Rhode Island Comic Con comping up, I had to do repairs to my Anastasia costume. The hoop skirt took a beating as Connecticon. But it was well worth the time to re-do this. I feel the hoops are sturdier now.

Did you do anything fun this past week? Let me know in the comments!
Until next time my friends,
Amanda

This week has been a busy one for me. But I did manage to find time to get my craft on. I mostly worked on my old kindle cover. It use to be the obnoxious glittery thing but now it has been Whovianized.

I also got a new grommet setting tool. It was super fun to learn! I can't wait to use this on my costumes.
I may have had a little too much fun with it.

I also found a great new local fabric store called Affordable Fabrics. Every bolt of fabric there is 2.99$ a yard. I found some great fabric for my upcoming costumes.

I can't wait to go back there!

Like many of you out there, I take a TON of photos throughout my day. Most of them are just goofy shots of me working in my room. But I thought it would be fun to actually show these off at the end of the week.

This is your obligatory warning of goofy out-of-focus photos of my crazy week.

Working on a new under $50 project. It makes me a little crazy.....just a little.

I've learned long ago that you can never pin too much. So many mistakes could have been avoided if I had just used a little more pins.

The "clean side" of my craft room. This is my favorite place in my entire apartment. I love the light that comes into the room. This is where I store all of my geek memorabilia from past events.

This cat make is impossible to get anything done. All he wants to do is cuddle.
